![]() Glimpse into the rich history of the diverse and colorful people who settled Pottawatomie County when you visit this turn of the century landmark. Built in 1904, the Depot is the last of its kind on the old route to the West. The building’s Romanesque style resembles a castle and provides a memorable backdrop for photo enthusiasts. The Santa Fe Depot is home of the Historical Society of Pottawatomie County Museum. Throughout the year the Depot plays host to a variety of special events including the Quilt Show, Woodcarver’s Festival, a Christmas Show and more.
